Warranty Policy

1. Limited Workmanship Warranty
We offer a 90-day workmanship warranty on all labor performed by our technicians. This warranty begins on the date the work is completed.
Covered Under This Warranty:
- Installation or repair work that fails due to an error in workmanship
- Adjustments or corrections needed due to an improper initial installation (within warranty window)
- Warranty coverage for parts only if they are installed by our team
2. Manufacturer Warranties
New parts and garage door components may come with separate manufacturer warranties, typically ranging from 1 to 10 years, depending on the brand and product type.
We honor all valid manufacturer warranties for parts we supply and install, but manufacturer claims must be submitted and processed through their own warranty policies. We are happy to help facilitate these claims where possible.
3. What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Issues resulting from tampering by another service provider or customer
- Failures due to power surges, weather events, or natural disasters
- Lack of maintenance or improper operation
- Cosmetic damages (scratches, dents, rust) unless reported at time of service
- Parts not provided or installed by Carlos Garage Door Repair
4. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain eligibility for warranty service, the customer agrees to:
- Operate the garage door system safely and properly
- Notify us within the warranty period if an issue occurs
- Provide access to the system for inspection and/or repairs
- Avoid altering or repairing the door or opener system by non-approved technicians
5. Warranty Service Requests
To request warranty service, please contact us with the following information:
- Your name and service address
- Description of the problem
- Date of original service
We may require inspection before approving warranty work.
6. Limitations of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the work or replacing the defective part, at our discretion. Under no circumstance shall Carlos Garage Door Repair be liable for:
- Incidental or consequential damages
- Loss of use or business interruption
- Costs related to third-party services
7. Modifications to This Policy
